Divine Play (Lila)

God or the Universe likes to play games, and we are all part of the fun! Think of life like a giant game of tag or hide-and-seek; it is not about winning, it is about the joy of moving and being alive. When we treat life like a serious job all the time, we forget to be happy. The trickster reminds us to lighten up and find the fun in every day, even when things are a little messy. Play is the way the world learns and creates new things.

The universe is not punishing you. The universe is playing with you. Tag. You are it. Now run. And laugh while you run.

Lila (Sanskrit) describes the cosmos as divine playground. Shifts existential focus from Telos (goal-oriented purpose) to Aisthesis (sensory experience and play). Reality is an aesthetic phenomenon, not a problem to solve. In Evolutionary Biology, play drives neuroplasticity and learning. Divine Play is the cosmic version: continuous experimentation of form and function driving diversity of life and consciousness.
