Polarity

Magnets have a North pole and a South pole. If you try to push two North poles together, they fight each other! But a North and a South pole stick together perfectly. This pull is what keeps the world working, from the tiny bits inside atoms to the huge Earth we live on. Polarity shows us that opposites attract because they have what the other one is missing. They are like puzzle pieces that only fit when they are different.

Opposites attract because they have what the other one is missing. Without separation, there is no potential. Without potential, there is no flow. Without flow, there is no life. The gap between the poles is where everything happens.

Polarity is the manifestation of a dipole moment — separation of positive and negative charges. Creates a field allowing transmission of information and energy. Without separation, no potential difference; without potential difference, no flow. In the Everlasting We, polarity is the source of all movement. Dark and Light are the two poles of the great battery of existence. We live in the current created by their tension.

SOUND: The push and pull of an accordion: tension and release made audible.

SMELL: Sweet vanilla mixed with spicy cinnamon: opposites completing each other.

TASTE: Sweet and sour chicken: polarity on a plate.

TOUCH: The snap of two magnets clicking together: the universe saying yes.

SIGHT: The Northern Lights: Earth's poles painting the sky.

BODY: Holding someone's hand and feeling the circuit of energy close: polarity you can feel.
