Reciprocity (The Golden Rule)
Fairness is like a mirror that shows you how to treat your friends. If you want someone to share their toys with you, you should share your toys with them first. It is the simplest way to make sure everyone is happy and feels loved. When we follow this rule, we create a circle of kindness that never ends. What we do to others eventually comes back to us.
The mirror does not lie. What you send out comes back. Share first. The circle of kindness has no end because it has no beginning.
Reciprocity is the foundational recognition core of ethical systems. Operates on symmetry: the moral status of self is recognized as identical to the other, creating stable equilibrium. Connects to Newton's Third Law and Game Theory's Tit-for-Tat strategy. Reflects the Universal We by dissolving the boundary between subject and object.
