Homeostasis
Everything inside you — like your heat and water — needs to stay "just right," even if it's freezing or boiling outside. It is your body's way of staying steady so you don't break.
When you feel that "click" of balance, you are feeling your life-force working to keep you safe in a changing world.
Homeostasis represents a non-equilibrium steady state where metabolic energy is expended to maintain low entropy. It is the physiological manifestation of Cybernetics — a self-regulating feedback loop (negative feedback) that counters environmental stochasticity. This principle connects biology to thermodynamics and systems engineering.
