The Placebo Effect
This is the "Magic of Believing." Sometimes, if you really believe a band-aid or a "magic" drink will make you feel better, your brain actually tells your body to start healing itself!
The sudden "ah-ha!" feeling when you stop worrying and the pain fades.
The Placebo Effect is a psychoneuroimmunological phenomenon. It proves that subjective expectation can trigger objective biochemical cascades. It connects to Neuroplasticity and the Observer Effect in physics — where the act of expectation alters the state of the system.
