Dimensional Analysis
Dimensional analysis is a translation tool. It is how we change one type of measurement into another without losing the truth. If you know how many minutes are in an hour, you can figure out how many seconds are in a day! It is a bridge that lets you walk from inches to miles safely. Even when we change the words or units, the amount of stuff stays exactly the same.
Truth is invariant under a change of coordinates. Whether we measure life in years, heartbeats, or breaths, the dimension of existence remains constant.
Dimensional analysis uses conversion factors (ratios equal to 1) to transform units. In advanced physics, it validates equations: if dimensions on both sides do not match, the equation is impossible. Truth is invariant under coordinate change. The logic of equivalence and universal communication.
SOUND: A song played on guitar vs. piano: the units change but the tune stays the same.
SMELL: A smell that reminds you of a place from long ago: time changed but the scent stayed.
TASTE: Sugar vs. honey: different units of sweetness to get the same result.
TOUCH: Using your thumb to measure something vs. using a ruler.
SIGHT: Watching a movie in slow motion: the time is different but the story is the same.
BODY: Throwing a heavy ball vs. a light ball: your brain translates the force needed.
Music: Epiphany by Staind
