Unit Rates
A unit rate is the power of one. It tells you how much of something you get for just one single piece of something else, like miles per one gallon of gas. It is the simplest way to compare two different things. When you find the unit rate, you find the heartbeat of the relationship. It shows you truth behind big numbers by making them small and easy to see.
Reduce everything to its single unit and the infinite potential of the relationship is unlocked. One is the seed of all.
The unit rate equals y/x when x=1: the normalized value or derivative at a point in a constant linear function. By reducing to base unit, we eliminate noise of scale. Once identified, any quantity can be derived through simple multiplication. The atomic theory of logic.
