Dualism (Good and Evil)

Dualism is like having a North Pole and a South Pole. Once paradise was lost, the world split into opposites: light and dark, happy and sad, good and evil. Before that, everything was just one. Now, we have to choose between things. Having evil in the world is scary, but it is the only way we can truly know what good is. It is like how you cannot see the stars unless the sky is dark. This helps us understand that even when things are bad, it is a sign that good still exists somewhere else.

A shadow on the ground only exists because there is a bright light somewhere nearby. Evil is the shadow. Good is the light. And you are the thing standing between them, casting the shape.

Dualism is the Metaphysical Schism following the Fall: transition from Non-Duality (the Garden) to a Binary System. Knowledge gained through contrast: Pleasure understood through Pain, Grace through Sin. This is the Informativeness Gate of reality — information cannot be processed without difference between two states. The ultimate goal: Unio Mystica, re-integration of opposites into higher unity. The Third Way that leads back to the One.

SOUND: A loud crash followed by total silence.

SMELL: The contrast between a dumpster and a flower shop on the same street.

TASTE: Salted caramel: salty and sweet at the same time.

TOUCH: A window cold on the outside but warm on the inside: two truths in one pane.

SIGHT: A black-and-white photo where everything is very clear.

BODY: The difference between your strong hand and your weak hand: duality living in your own body.

Music: Achilles Last Stand by Led Zeppelin
