Seasonal Periodicity

Every year, the world goes through a giant cycle of death and rebirth called the seasons. In the winter, the trees lose their leaves, the ground gets hard, and it looks like everything has stopped living. But the plants are actually just sleeping and saving their energy deep underground. When spring comes, the warmth wakes them up, and everything turns green and beautiful again. Winter is not the end; it is just a time for nature to rest before its big rebirth in the spring. You also have times when you need to rest so you can bloom later!

When you feel tired or stuck, you are a tree in winter. You are not dying. You are saving. The roots are working underground where nobody can see. Spring is coming. It always comes.

Phenology studies periodic life cycle events. Dormancy is a physiological death-like state allowing survival of adverse conditions. This cyclical nature is fundamental to Earth's rhythms, teaching that death is often strategic withdrawal rather than finality. The season knows exactly when to end and exactly when to begin.
