Causality: The Chain of Events

Causality is just a fancy word for cause and effect. If you push a domino, the next one falls, then the next: a big chain reaction. Something has to happen before it can cause something else later. You cannot have a puddle before it rains. You cannot have a toothache before you eat too much candy! Our actions today create the world we live in tomorrow. Everything is connected through invisible threads of why and because.

Every puddle had a rain. Every fire had a spark. Follow the chain backward and you find the reason. Follow it forward and you find the future.

Causality: an effect cannot occur before its cause in all inertial frames. In quantum mechanics and general relativity, involves light cones and the interval between events. Information cannot travel faster than c, as doing so would allow effect before cause (temporal paradoxes). A foundational constraint maintaining the logical consistency of spacetime evolution.

SOUND: The clack of two billiard balls hitting each other.

SMELL: Smoke that tells you a fire was lit nearby.

TASTE: The spice on your tongue after biting a pepper.

TOUCH: The vibration in your hand after knocking on a door.

SIGHT: A ball flying through the air after someone kicks it.

BODY: Muscles tensing before you jump: your body knows cause comes before effect.
