Consensus Reality
Consensus reality is what we all agree is true so we can live together, like which side of the road to drive on or what money is worth. It might not be nature's truth, but it is our truth. If everyone agrees a stop sign means stop, then it becomes a real rule for everyone. This shows us that we create part of our world together through shared stories and rules.
Some truths exist because the universe says so. Others exist because we all decided together. Know which is which.
The Thomas Theorem: if men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences. Physical laws are independent of us, but social truths like laws, value, and identity exist because of collective intentionality. Understanding this prevents confusing cultural constructs with physical constants.
