Conservation of Energy
There is a special rule in the universe that says energy can never truly disappear; it can only change into something else. The energy that makes you move, think, and feel warm is the same kind of energy found in stars and lightning. When your body stops, that energy does not just vanish into nothing. It leaves the body and goes back into the world around you, like steam rising from a cup of cocoa. You are made of star-stuff, and that stuff stays in the universe forever.
You are made of star-stuff and that stuff stays in the universe forever. The first law of thermodynamics is not a suggestion. It is a law. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Period. The warmth in your body will become warmth in the soil. The electricity in your brain will become electricity in the air. Nothing is lost. Nothing was ever lost. The universe does not know how to waste. It only knows how to transform.
First Law of Thermodynamics: energy in an isolated system is constant. Biological death involves cessation of electrochemical signals but the thermal and chemical energy is redistributed into the ecosystem. Aligns with biocentrism — if consciousness is information and information is linked to entropy, the essence persists in the total informational state of the cosmos. Nothing is lost. The universe does not know how to waste.
SOUND: The low hum of a distant power transformer: energy never stops — it just changes address.
SMELL: Ozone in the air before a thunderstorm: the scent of energy changing form.
TASTE: The tingle of a sour lemon: chemical energy talking to your tongue.
TOUCH: Static shock from a doorknob: energy reminding you it is everywhere.
SIGHT: The flickering glow of a candle flame: energy visibly transforming from wax to light.
BODY: Tingling pins and needles in your arm: energy rerouting through your nerves.
