Unconditional Love / Agape

The biggest power in the universe is not a fist or a weapon; it is a heart that loves for no reason at all. This kind of love does not ask for anything back; it just gives because giving feels good. It is the feeling a mother has for her baby or the way the sun gives light to everyone, even if they are not good. When we love like this, we are acting just like the Divine creator. It is the glue that holds the stars together.

Unconditional love works the same way. It is not love because the other person earned it. It is love because love is what you are. The mother does not love the baby because the baby did something impressive. The baby has done nothing. The love exists anyway. That is the proof. Love is not a response to value. Love is the source of value.

Agape: selfless transcendent love. Prosocial behavior linked to oxytocin release — the moral molecule. Bodies are biologically tuned to the divine frequency of love. Ultimate reality is not indifferent matter but a benevolent force. To align with this force is enlightenment or salvation. Love is not a response to value. Love is the source of value.

SOUND: A baby laughing hysterically: joy with no reason and no conditions.

SMELL: A clean soft blanket: safety you can breathe.

TASTE: A warm meal someone made specifically for you: love that entered through the kitchen.

TOUCH: A long safe hug that makes you sigh: the body melting into trust.

SIGHT: The sun rising and giving light to the whole world: generosity that does not check credentials.

BODY: Lightness in your chest when you forgive someone: the body releasing a weight it was never meant to carry.
