Covalent Bonding

This is when two atoms decide to share what they have so they both win. They hold onto the same electrons like two kids holding onto the same toy so they can both play.

Lock your fingers together tightly. Try to pull them apart. That strength you feel is the same strength holding your DNA together.

Covalent bonding involves the sharing of electron pairs. It creates discrete molecular entities with specific bond angles and lengths determined by orbital hybridization (sp, spยฒ, spยณ). This is the chemical equivalent of Mutualism in biology or Game Theory's "Win-Win" scenarios.

SOUND: Two voices singing in perfect harmony.

SMELL: The scent of a rose (complex shared carbon bonds).

TASTE: Sugar โ€” Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen sharing everything.

TOUCH: A firm "pinky swear" link.

SIGHT: Two circles overlapping to make a heart shape.

BODY: Leaning your back against a friend's back to stay standing.

Music: Butterfly Fly Away by Miley Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus

Music: Map of the Problematique by Muse
