Conditional Probability

Conditional probability is about how things are linked together in a chain. It asks: "If this thing happened, how much does it change the chance of that next thing happening?" The chance of you wearing a coat is small, but if it is snowing, that chance becomes very high. Nothing in the world happens in a vacuum. Everything is connected to what came before it. By looking at these links, we can understand the hidden strings that pull on our lives every day.

Our current state is always a given condition for our future possibilities — the math of Karma, cause and effect.

Defined as P(A|B) = P(A∩B)/P(B), conditional probability studies how information reduces uncertainty. It is the basis for Markov Chains and much of modern machine learning, exploring the interconnectedness of variables within a system. Philosophically, this is the math of Cause and Effect — our current state is always a "given" condition for future possibilities, emphasizing the present moment as the foundation for what follows.

SOUND: A call and response in music — the second sound only makes sense because of the first.

SMELL: The smell of smoke leading you to look for a fire.

TASTE: The way a drink tastes different after you've just eaten something very spicy.

TOUCH: Pulling on a thread and feeling the rest of the fabric tighten up.

SIGHT: Branching paths where each choice limits or expands the next options.

BODY: How your body automatically tenses up when you see a step is higher than you thought.
