The Existence of Black Holes

A black hole is a place where so much stuff is packed into a tiny space that its "tug" is the strongest in the universe. It's like a cosmic trapdoor. If you get too close, even light — the fastest thing ever — can't get out.

There are mysteries so deep they swallow the light, yet they hold the centers of galaxies together.

Black holes are solutions to Einstein's field equations where space-time curvature becomes infinite (a singularity), defined by an Event Horizon beyond which escape velocity exceeds the speed of light. They represent the "Limit of Knowledge" — where our current math breaks down, inviting humble recognition of the Unknowable.

SOUND: A deep, silent pause in a song that makes you hold your breath.

SMELL: The smell of a deep basement or cave — cool, heavy, and mysterious.

TASTE: Extremely dark chocolate. Intense, concentrated, and takes over your whole mouth.

TOUCH: A very strong magnet pulling on a metal toy in your hand. Feel the invisible "must-go" force.

SIGHT: Look at a shadow on a bright sunny day. The shadow is only there because something is blocking the light.

BODY: Spin around until you feel dizzy and "pulled" toward the floor.
